The global PV community met in Hamburg at the 31st European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC 2015) to discuss the latest developments and innovations in Photovoltaics. More than 50 % of the participants at the EU PVSEC 2015 were represented by R&D specialists and about 40 % from the segment industry and engineering.
In cooperation with PV experts from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology our Technical Director Gerhard Muetter gave a presentation titled “EXPERIENCES WITH A PERFORMANCE PACKAGE FOR MULTI-MW PV PLANTS BASED ON COMPUTATIONS ON TOP OF MONITORING” using interesting results from the use of our “Performance Improvement Tools”.

PVSEC 2015 GM_Presentation
PVSEC 2015 was focused on “Europe´s role to take PV to the next level- Focussing on cost effective integrated supply solutions”. In addition there were a number of contributions on the status of development for new solar materials and new technologies to produce new types of solar cells.
Another main area, in parallel to the event, covered building integration and PV Forms and Landscapes.
The content of the Alteso presentation with AIT is based on the experience of operation and optimization for PV plants of more than 700MWp over more than 3 years and was very well received in the closing session of Europe´s largest scientific conference in Photovoltaics.
